On The Day Styling & Décor Setup

Silk Estate’s passion, experience and attention to detail create gorgeously executed weddings and events. Our marquee set up and styling service guides you to curate your own wedding day style that incorporates our marquee, lighting, furniture, signage* and decor range, alongside your floral, stationery and any additional decor or furniture items that we are happy to hire from our industry partners on your behalf. Our stylists have the skill set, experience, creativity and industry connections to bring your ultimate event and wedding dreams to life. 

We offer an extensive selection of beautiful furniture and decor items all for hire alongside your chosen marquee making it effortless to bring your unique style to life. Our hire range includes everything from tables and chairs, crockery, cutlery, glassware, cocktail and lounging furniture, lighting, draping, lawn games and some of the finer details such as vases, cushions and flameless candles.

*Ask us about working with our in-house designer create your custom stationery and semi-custom signage to help you bring your complete look together.  

Our On the day styling & décor setup includes: 

  • Arranging tables and chairs to align with agreed Site & Marquee Layouts
  • Set up of cocktail and lounging furniture
  • Set out ceremony chairs
  • Set up tea & coffee and dessert sideboards, and bar areas
  • Setting the tables with cutlery, crockery & glassware including any named guest cards, napkins, table decor / styling. elements and signage
  • Complimentary showroom meetings
  • Mock table setup
  • Customised run sheet for your event (if required)
  • Seating plan template
  • Site & marquee layouts/floor plans

Our timeline:

To make our processes as seamless as possible, our teams have a general timeline we follow for every event. 

Day one: our marquee riggers will mark out and build your marquee according to site plans. 

Day two: your furniture will arrive. Our team will place all the furniture; (tables, chairs, dance floor, staging etc.) as planned in the marquee layout. All outdoor furniture will be placed inside the marquee. All catering equipment, glassware, plates will be placed in the catering marquee (as required). All lighting and electrical elements will be installed. 

On the day: Our styling team will arrive at 7:30am to style and set all tables, chairs and outdoor furniture. If you choose our wedding coordination package, your wedding coordinator will arrive at midday and assist in any final touchups. If you have chosen our beverage staff package will arrive around 2 hours before your event to set up the bar/s. 

Following your event: Our beverage staff (if our package is chosen) will pack down and tidy all glassware and furniture ready to be returned or reset ready for a following day event (if required). 

Day after your event: Our team will be onsite from 7:30am to pick up furniture, tableware and lighting to prepare for our marquee crew. At 11am our marquee crew will arrive to takedown your marquee.
